INTRO: Apple’s next iPhone event is arising soon, although the corporate has not confirmed a date thus far. However, consistent with a replacement report from Bloomberg, it seems the event is going to be bigger than it always is, with a bunch of latest launches alongside the much-awaited Apple iPhone 12.
Apple Launching four iPhones this year.
We already know that Apple is going to be launching four iPhones this year. There will be a 5.4-inch and 6.1-inch iPhone 12. Then, there will be a 6.1-inch iPhone 12 Pro, and a 6.7-inch iPhone 12 Pro Max, which is the biggest iPhone The Cupertino-based giant has ever made (side note: I can almost hear Tim Cook saying “It’s the most important iPhone we’ve ever made”). Bloomberg’s report corroborates an equivalent number and sizes of the iPhones. However, it also adds that Apple has put in orders for 75 million iPhone 12 units.
That’s the same number that the company ordered last year with the iPhone 11. Apple is clearly expecting sales to not really take a hit due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
Upcoming Apple Watches
Apart from that, the report mentions that the Cupertino giant is going to be launching a few of other devices also. Obviously, there’s the new Apple Watch. However, Bloomberg’s sources claim that the company will launch two new Apple Watches this year. A successor to the flagship Watch Series 5, and a cheaper iOS Watch which will replace the Series 3 and compete against offerings from companies like Fitbit.
Also expected is the new iPad Air. This year, it’s expected to require design cues from the iPad Pro and have an identical full-screen display, and flat edges. However, the iPad Air will probably not use Face ID with a leaked instruction pamphlet showing a fingerprint scanner within the power button.
Moreover, Bloomberg mentions that a replacement, smaller HomePod can also be announced; plus, new Apple-branded over-ear headphones may additionally make an appearance. These have also been hinted at tons of times within the past, so it won’t be a surprise if Apple does launch them alongside the new iPhones. After all, reports also mention that the iPhone 12 won’t accompany EarPods within the box.
