Finally, Samsung has announced the most awaited flagship device of 2017 named as Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+. While the competition is tough, Samsung has tried to fill up all those gaps where devices such as LG G6 is lacking. Here, we will talk about the new Galaxy S8.

The phone is having all those expected features which as termed as rumor before. The main highlight of the phone is it comes with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 and it has a special virtual assistant named Bixby. The assistant is own developed by the company and could be a huge competitor of the popular assistants such as Apple Siri, Google Assistant and Microsoft Cortona.

One more stunning features embedded inside the phone is iris recognition which was only seen in Samsung Galaxy Note 7, discontinued due to battery issues. The biometric recognition uses iris to unlock the device and a lot more couple of exciting tasks. Samsung Galaxy S8 also features a fingerprint scanner placed on the rear side placed after camera.

They also has installed a new feature called Samsung Dex which allows users to convert smartphone into a computer when you dock it into monitor, keyboard and mouse. The phone is water and dust resistant and comes with IP68 rating like the flagship LG G6. Galaxy S8 is running Samsung based skin which is topped on Android Nougat.

While the company itself has not commented on the price of both S8 and S8+, The Verge has mentioned the price of US. The price of S8 is in between $720 to $750 which is Rs 46,000 to Rs 48000 approx. While in the US, it is priced at $720 but we have mentioned in between as because it may vary for other countries.

Talking about the availability of this smartphone it goes live on sale on 21st April 2017. The phone will be available in four colour variants which are Midnight Black, Orchid Gray, Arctic Silver, Coral Blue and Maple Gold.
