BSNL Vasantham Gold PV 96 Prepaid Plan

INTRO: BSNL has announced the launch of a replacement long-term prepaid plan altogether but two telecom circles around India. The new plan costs Rs. 2,399 and, and it comes with a validity of 600 days. It also brings up to 250 minutes of voice calls and 100 SMS per day. Additionally, it offers personalized ring back tones (PRBT), but just for the primary 60 days after recharge.

The plan is out there across all telecom circles BSNL operates in, apart from J&K and Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Do note that it’s not a combo plan and doesn’t have any bundled data allocation. The company doesn’t seem to possess announced a combo version of this plan yet.

The telecom service provider company BSNL also made a few more changes to its prepaid portfolio in the week. In a recent tweet on Wednesday, the corporate announced that it is withdrawing its prepaid vouchers worth Rs. 149 and Rs. 725 from the states in Chennai and Tamil Nadu circles. The company has also ended the Rs. 96 prepaid recharge plan which was called ‘Vasantham Gold PV 96’ in these two areas.

BSNL can tweak its plans all it wants, but the corporate will still remain a laggard due to its inability to roll out 4G networks. The company remains to offer legacy 3G connections to its users whilst most private telecom operators in India are prepping to leap onto the 5G bandwagon.

The State-owned carrier received government approval to roll out 4G nationwide back in 2018 but is yet to try to so in most regions around the country. As the company continues to lose subscribers to its private-sector rivals, it might be hoping that a number of its new plans and recharge options will help it stem the exodus somewhat.
