Second Phase Of Lockdown:
India has entered into the second phase of lockdown. All the private telecom operators have announced they will provide a prepaid recharge facility till 3rd May. On the other hand, BSNL will offer extended prepaid plan validity till 5th May.
What Features BSNL Is Providing:
BSNL is going to provide users free incoming calls till 5th May. The Government of India has announced lockdown till 3rd May, but there is a high possibility that the lockdown will be extended further as the number of coronavirus cases seems to be going upward.
Alongside the prepaid account validity extension, the state-run operator also introduced a toll-free ‘Recharge Helpline’ which will allow the users to recharge their mobile number with ease.

BSNL is the company that stays on the number one spot whenever you are talking about providing benefits. The entire nation is under lockdown, BSNL users are facing troubles recharging their plans offline. A lot of BSNL users still head over to offline stores to get their prepaid number recharged.

Shri. P. K. Purwar, CMD, BSNL said, “BSNL firmly stands besides its subscribers during this crisis period and we request the subscribers to “Go Digital” for recharging their accounts. Several options available for recharge include MyBSNL mobile app, BSNL website and other popular wallet services.”
The telecom operator has also introduced recharge helpline on toll-free numbers. BSNL users can avail prepaid recharges by sitting at their home only by dialing 5670099.
How To Recharge From Toll-Free Numbers:
The toll-free number is available to North zones and West zones and will be available from the 22th April at South zones and east zones also.
In the “Ghar Baithe Recharge,” subscribers can register a request for recharge and a BSNL executive will reach subscribers and provide the requested recharge. As for “Apno ki madad se recharge,” it allows subscribers to request a recharge from a friend or family.
