State-run Telecom service, BSNL(Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited) has two unique data plans for its customers. BSNL Offers Prepaid Plan 500GB Data 365 Days Validity. BSNL has another offer for their customers. The customers are likely to get 300GB of data at Rs 693 only. Sadly these two offers are valid only in selected circles of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
BSNL Offers Prepaid Plan 500GB Data 365 Days Validity:
BSNL comes up with the best deals for its prepaid customers. Rs 693 and Rs 1212 are two latest additions to the list. These two plans don’t come with free voice calls and free SMS benefits.
The customers are likely to get 500GB data at rupees 1212. You can use this data at any time within 365 days of validity. There is no FUP limit for this plan. If you consume the entire 500GB in less than 365 days you need to recharge again. Customers will not get any free calling or SMS facility with this plan. You need to recharge separately for calls and SMSs.
300GB Offer Plan With Details:
Under this plan, customers will get a bulk of 300GB of data at rupees 693 only. The validity is 365 days. Same as Rupees 1212 plan, you will get unrestricted onetime usage here.
BSNL Reduces Data Benefits:
On other news, the government-owned telco has reduced the validity of some prepaid plans. BSNL’s popular 1699 plan is now reduced to 300 days validity from 365 days validity. The company has also reduced its validity of Rs 186 and Rs 187 to 2GB. Earlier, these two plans used to come with 3GB of data per day use.
The Data STV of Rs 98 has also received a validity reduction and it now ships with 2GB data per day benefit for 22 days from the date of recharge.
In this period of lockdown, reducing data plans and validity is not a wise choice when everyone is doing work from home. However, the move from the telco could be to promote other available plans; For the unaware, BSNL has introduced a Rs 1,999 annual plan that offers 3GB data per day, unlimited voice calling and 100 SMSes per day for 365 days.
