Hotstar Welcomes Disney Plus Contents. On Tuesday, Star India has announced that they are upgrading Hotstar to Disney Hotstar. This will enable users to watch over more than 200+ superhero movies along with Hotstar content.

The company said that this feature will attract more customers. The company quoted the “magic of Disney’s storytelling and the scale and technological expertise of Hotstar will give users an unparalleled video streaming experience.” This feature will avail three offerings. Disney Plus Hotstar VIP, Disney Plus Hotstar Premium and a basic tier that will support ads.
The company said customers will get to watch Disney Plus Hotstar VIP in three languages. Hindi, Tamil, and Telegu.
Disney Plus Hotstar Renovate Packages:
With Disney Plus Hotstar VIP, users can watch animated series like The Lion King, Frozen II, Aladdin and Toy Story 4 along with contents of the famous Marvel Cinematic Universe like The Avengers, Iron Man and Thor. VIP subscription lets users enjoy movies only in either Hindi, Tamil or Telegu.
Star India noted that Disney Hotstar VIP subscriber will receive all the content of VIP subscription along with famous Disney Contents like The Mandalorian and The High School Musical.

The new subscription fee of the Disney Plus VIP package starts at rupees 399 for a year. Disney Plus Hotstar premium will be available at rupees 1499 a year.

Access to free content will continue for users where they can watch on-demand news, movies, matches. The company said that it will host a virtual red carpet event on April 2 with the premiere of The Lion King in multiple languages including English, Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi. While The Lion King will be premiered at 6 pm, followed by The Mandalorian at 8 pm.
