Mi Band 5 is coming, at least that’s what leaks and rumors have been suggesting for months now. It is the first year anniversary of Mi Band 4 and Huami is working hard to launch the new Mi Band to launch soon as a successor to Mi Band 4.
According to reports, the new Mi Band that will be built by Huami – the company behind Amazfit wearables and previous Mi band models is unveiling in the month of June end or the starting of July.
In terms of features, the Tizen Help report claims that Mi Band 5 will have a larger display than its predecessor and offer NFC support. It is also going to have spO2 support that will measure oxygen saturation in the blood. Many fitness wearables already offer this feature.
The new launch of Huami is going to support menstruation support for women. The Alexa support is available on both Chinese as well as well as international models of this fitness tracker device.
Additionally, the smart band will come with a Personal Activity Intelligence or PAI function. This function will use heart rate data to showing users how much activity they need to stay healthy.
From other tidbits of Rizen help support, the global version of the device will carry the model number XMSH11HM. Also, the NFC support will be limited to the Chinese market.
Mi Band 4 which was launched the last year in the month of June, is among the best fitness device. However, the Chinese wearable company has not made any confirmation regarding when the new fitness band will be launched. Huami will launch in countries like Europe, China, and India. According to reports, The NFC support will be restricted to China only. The new fitness band is going to be an affordable one.
