INTRO: Recently the company Microsoft Launcher Preview has received a major update that brings some neat and pretty good features to the launcher, such as the ability to add three rows to the dock and app drawer folders.
Three Rows in Dock
If you are a person who uses Microsoft Launcher’s docks feature, most then you’ll be glad to hear about this update that it now supports three rows in docks. You can access any of them by swiping up from the first row. This gives all the interested users more room to quickly access their favorite apps easily.
Folders in App Drawer
While all the folders are usually convenient for the group apps on the home screen, some of the users prefer to keep their app drawer beautifully organized. You can now group apps in the app drawer with this latest update. To use the feature, you just have to long-press an app, choose “Select” & then pick the apps you need in the group, and press the folder icon that is present at the top. Remember that folders will exist in a separate section in the app drawer.
Apart from these two main features aforementioned, the update also adds a double-tap gesture to the lock screen, a convenient feature addition to seamlessly lock your smartphone. Microsoft says it has also improved the app search along with bug fixes.
Below is the official changelog for the update:
- Add up to 3 rows in Dock
- Organize your App Drawer with folders
- Double-tap to lock screen
- Improved app search
- Fixed bugs and crashes
