Sony WH-1000XM4 headphones may let you pair more than one device

Sony Headphones Connectivity Upgrade

We got the details from twitter where, the user just playing hard, who tweeted out this information which they have obtained from a recent bring up of Sony’s Headphones Connect application. It hints that the M4 headphones may be able to pair with two devices simultaneously, and this is a feature that is not present in its predecessor.

Smart Talking Feature

The M4 headphones may also include a new feature that is called “Smart Talking,” which will allow the headphones to detect voices and then adjust the ambient sound so the user can hear conversations without taking off the headphones. Images of what the headphones could look like also surfaced from the teardown, and they appear very similar to the M3, as previous leaks showed.

M4 May Have Longer Battery Life Up to 40hrs

Sony’s upcoming headphones were earlier leaked in March through a report from a Brazilian regulatory agency. The leak included some pictures of the M4, which in looks were slightly thicker than the M3 the previous ones. It also revealed that the new headphones may have a longer battery life, possibly up to the 40-hour range on a single charge, which is four hours extra from its predecessor’s typical battery life.

The leaks do not indicate to us when the headphones will be rolled out, nor has the company Sony released any info related to that on the M4 headphones. We can expect a release very soon, as it seems like headphones may have passed the trial through the Federal Communications Commission for approval in late 2019.
