Telcos Demands Time TRAI Submitting Recharge Pattern Details – Why Telcos Need To Submit Plan Structures:
Since the government of India has extended the lockdown period until May 03, 2020, Trai is creating a blue structure that would make guidelines for telecom operators on providing prepaid benefits and services to subscribers in the second phase of lockdown period.
Benefits Provided By The Telcos:
The telecom operators have provided 600 crore rupees benefits in all. Mostly the offers are available for prepaid users. Telecom operators are trying their best to offer seamless, fast network connectivity to the users during this lockdown period.
Vodafone and Bharti Airtel have extended the plans for 80 to 100 million subscribers. They are wage workers and migrant workers. Not only this, telco giants credited talk time credit of Rs 10 in the accounts of prepaid subscribers to keep them connected with their loved ones.
Letters Sent By TRAI:
Letters sent by TRAI, they have asked information regarding the number of subscribers who have received the benefits of extended recharge plan validity and free talk time.
Also, Trai had asked for the list of subscribers whose account balance were zero, and no subsequent recharge was done in the month of February.
With all the information, Trai will create a plan which will offer uniform benefits and services to prepaid subscribers.
