Telecom operators are facing massive load on their network infrastructure as more people are using internet connection these days. In such a scenario, funds from Government will aid telecom operators to provide intriguing offers to their subscribers amid the lockdown period.
Telecom Operators Seeks Funds Providing Benefits-
Airtel And Vodafone Extended Validity Of Prepaid Plans:
To help the users during this lockdown, telcos like Airtel and Vodafone have extended their validity of prepaid plans till 17th April 2020.
Telecom companies have also credited rupees 10 to user’s accounts without charging from them. Nearly 80 million subscribers of Airtel and 100million subscribers of Vodafone, who are mainly wage workers are getting this facility.
Similar to Bharti Airtel and Vodafone Idea, BSNL has also extended the validity of its prepaid plans for Low ARPU subscribers to help them stay connected with their loved ones amid the lockdown period.
Reliance Jio Has Extended The Validity:
Recently the telco giant offered double data to subscribers which fulfilled their entertainment purposes. Not only this, but Reliance Jio has also credited 100 minutes of talk time in the account of prepaid subscribers whose validity has expired.
Telecom Operators Have Increased Recharge Channels:
Since the stores are closed due to lockdown, telecom operators are ensuring that the users doesn’t face any problem. Telecom operators have teamed up with different grocery stores and pharmacies to provide hassle free recharge facility to the customers.
