INTRO: At now, we all realize the digital streaming behemoth within the market, Netflix. The platform has thousands of flicks and television shows for the audience to enjoy. So, to depict how long did all the films and television shows on the platform last, an Indian data analyst has made two interactive pizza-like charts (more like pizza-charts) that categorize them supported their runtime.
Recently shared on the r/data is a beautiful subreddit, a Reddit post (below) led us to a public data visualizations website that contains the interactive digital charts made by Nagaraj Bhat (@nagarajbhat92), an Australia-based Indian data analyst and machine learning expert. consistent with his website, Bhat tells “stories from Data” and these two “pizza-charts” are an example of his work.
Now, speaking of the charts, there are two of them as I discussed earlier. One is there for TV shows and therefore the other one is for the films that are currently streaming on Netflix.
The one with the TV shows categorizes them supported the number of seasons of every series. On the opposite hand, the “pizza-chart” for the film’s categorizes supported the runtime of every movie.
Now, these charts show that the majority of the TV shows on Netflix have just one season, while there are only a couple of shows that have over ten seasons. Similarly, within the case of the films on Netflix, most of them run a maximum of two hours and only a couple of them have over three hours of runtime.
If you would like to urge more details, you’ll also click on the sliders beside each of the charts to flick through each of the categories one by one.
